PERSONALIZED ASSESSMENTS

Your goals and needs shape your assessment. KEV Performance creates a customized assessment profile based on your performance goals and the needs of your body to optimally perform in your sport or activity, or in your daily life. Assessments consist of both a functional fitness and an athletic performance component or just a functional fitness component depending on the goal/ goals you are trying to achieve. The results from your customized assessment will be used to create the most personalized high quality performance program.

FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT

Test your Fitness

  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) - The functional movement screen captures your ability to perform the fundamental movements needed for sports or life. The FMS looks at the vital patterns that make basic function possible such as the key fundamental movements, joint mobility, joint stability, core stability, balance, and coordination.

  • Static postural assessment to see how your posture could have an impact your movement and performance

  • Dynamic postural assessment of your fundamental movements to capture how you move and any muscular imbalances you may have.

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

Test your Athleticism

  • Fundamental Capacity Screen (FCS) - the fundamental capacity screen captures your ability to perform movement patterns with a certain amount of capacity, volume, consistency, or resistance to fatigue. The FCS tests human performance by assessing the ability to demonstrate single limb competency, the ability maintain posture under load, the ability to express power, and the ability to store and transfer energy for explosive movements

  • Vertical jump tests to not only capture how high you jump but to also capture lower body power and your ability to store and transfer energy for explosive movements.

  • Sport specific change in direction tests to see how effective and efficient you are at changing directions and if you have any imbalances between right and left side while doing so.

  • Agility tests to assess your ability to effectively read and react to different movement situations.

  • Sprint tests to capture how well you accelerate and your top speed.

  • Energy system (conditioning) tests to assess how well your cardiovascular system is developed so you could perform better for longer.
